A trip to the Valley of Flowers sounds like a fantastic idea! The Valley of Flowers National Park is located in the state of Uttarakhand in India. It is a beautiful alpine valley known for its vibrant meadows filled with a variety of colorful flowers, including rare and endangered species.

The vibrant hues and fragrance create a sensory delight. spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, glaciers, cascading waterfalls, and gushing rivers. Himalayan monals, pheasants, musk deer, and the elusive snow leopard.

Arrive at Dehradun’s Jolly Grant Airport or the railway station. Travel to Joshimath or Govindghat (about 10-12 hours by road). Check into a hotel or guesthouse for an overnight stay.
Have an early breakfast and start the trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria (around 14 kilometers). The trek passes through beautiful forests and crosses the Alaknanda River on a suspended bridge. Arrive in Ghangaria and check into a guesthouse or hotel. Rest and acclimatize for the upcoming days. Explore the village and enjoy the serene surroundings. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.
After an early breakfast, start the trek to the Valley of Flowers (around 3 kilometers). Enjoy the stunning views of the colorful flowers, meadows, and snow-capped peaks. Spend the day exploring the valley, photographing the flowers, and soaking in the beauty of nature. Return to Ghangaria in the afternoon. Rest and relax in Ghangaria. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.
Have an early breakfast and start the trek to Hemkund Sahib (around 6 kilometers). Visit the holy Sikh shrine situated beside a serene glacial lake.
Take some time to soak in the spiritual ambiance and enjoy the pristine surroundings Descend back to Ghangaria in the afternoon. Rest and relax in Ghangaria. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.
After breakfast, start the trek back to Govindghat. Once in Govindghat, drive back to Joshimath. Check into a hotel in Joshimath and relax. You can explore the town and visit the famous Adi Shankaracharya Math if time permits. Overnight stay in Joshimath.
After breakfast, start the journey back to Dehradun. Arrive in Dehradun and check into a hotel or proceed to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
